200 Amp Electrical Panel Replacement & Service Upgrade with Surge Protection | Littleton, CO

This Electrical Panel Replacement & Upgrades project was completed for a homeowner in Littleton, Colorado, to improve the safety, reliability, and capacity of the home's electrical system.

The existing electrical system consisted of a separate main panel and subpanel that no longer met the homeowner's electrical needs. AttaBoy Electric Services upgraded the home with a new 200 amp electrical service, combining both panels into one larger, modern electrical panel to improve capacity, organization, and allow room for future electrical additions.

As part of the project, we installed a new grounding system and whole-house surge protection to help safeguard the home's electrical system and sensitive electronics from power surges and electrical faults.

To bring the installation up to current electrical code, existing NM (Romex) cable that was exposed outdoors was transitioned into properly protected exterior-rated wiring using weatherproof junction boxes. We also installed four new outdoor-rated receptacles with weatherproof, in-use covers, providing the homeowner with safe and convenient outdoor power.

Every aspect of this electrical service upgrade was completed to current National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and professionally installed with long-term safety, reliability, and functionality in mind.
